When companies rebrand, there are usually many reasons behind the decision, which can include international growth, new management, or an outdated image. In our case, we felt it was a little bit of all of those… it was time for a new look to show off who we are today.
The last few years have seen a few changes at Shipnet, from being acquired by Volaris and gaining a new CEO, to changing our focus to a more customer centric business, with collaboration, openness and innovation at the forefront of everything we do. But, we haven’t forgotten where we came from.
As the most experienced marine software company, we have a vast amount of knowledge. And we’ve retained that knowledge, we’re just using it in a different way. The rebrand and new website represents a clear change in focus, from simply selling a product we think you want, to collaborating with you to provide solutions you need.
Modern business has a multitude of concerns, not just financial. As we look to the future, it’s important we’re making sustainable business decisions. We need to be aware and take responsibility for our contributions to the climate crisis, and be transparent about what we’re doing to reduce our emissions.
